Joondalup Resort is Perth golf with the scenery dialled to cinematic. Robert Trent Jones Jr routed 27 holes through three contrasting nines—Quarry, Dune and Lake—so one round can leap from a 30-metre limestone cliff to thick bushland, rolling links-style fairways and lake edges. Any two nines form a par-72 course, with black-tee combinations stretching beyond 6,200 metres and slopes up to 146. The public can play seven days a week, motor carts are compulsory for standard rounds, and the resort adds a Toptracer-enabled range, academy, pro shop, restaurant and accommodation. Bring a valid physical licence and credit card; the starter is less forgiving than the quarry.
