Guilderton Golf Club (Guilderton Country Club)

Guilderton Golf Club, also known as Guilderton Country Club, opened in 1971 and is a nine-hole public sand-green golf course nestled in natural bushland near the Moore River estuary. The course measures about 4,621 yards for 18 holes (i.e. two rounds of the 9-hole layout). It is open during daylight hours every day, although club competitions on Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays may affect access. The club welcomes visitors: there is a clubhouse with bar and kitchen open from Wednesday to Sunday, serving meals such as bar snacks, take-aways and a la carte options; all are welcome to use the facilities. The course is maintained by community efforts and visitor fees help keep the fairways, greens and club-ground in good condition. Guilderton’s combination of coastal scenery, a relaxed atmosphere, and the simplicity of a shorter course make it suitable for newcomers and a pleasant visit for regular golfers seeking a quiet round.
