Torquay Golf Club
Torquay Golf Club begins the Great Ocean Road with an 18-hole par-71 links-style test and enough ocean scenery to forgive the occasional lost ball. Developed by Ogilvy Clayton, led by Geoff Ogilvy and Mike Clayton, the course follows the Surf Coast's natural undulations through wide couch fairways, slick greens, wetlands and coastal views. Public tee times are available daily, with club, buggy and cart hire plus the adjoining RACV Torquay Resort for an easy stay-and-play escape.

Spectacular seaside layout with sweeping ocean views and true, well tended greens that reward bold shotmaking. Wide fairways and strategic bunkering keep it interesting, with friendly staff and solid clubhouse amenities. Drawback: it gets very busy and rounds can run slow.
