Ocean Shores Country Club

Ocean Shores Country Club brings big, inventive golf to the Byron hinterland, with Pacific views, tidal lakes, creeks and the Koonyum Ranges filling the horizon. Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge designed the 18-hole, par-72 championship course around a wonderfully unusual balance of six par threes, six par fours and six par fives—so the same par never appears twice in succession. Public social and competition golf, twilight walking, junior rates, carts, club hire, coaching, practice greens and a golf shop are available. Add clubhouse dining, bowls and stay-and-play options for a complete Northern Rivers outing.

Stunning coastal vistas and a varied, strategic layout with true, enjoyable greens make for a memorable day on the course; the club vibe and staff are welcoming. Drawback: parts of the course can be soft and muddy after rain.
