Royal Melbourne Golf Club, established in 1891, is located in the Melbourne Sandbelt at Black Rock. The West Course, designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie and Alex Russell, opened in 1931 and consistently ranks among the world’s top ten courses. The East Course was added in 1932 and complements the West Course. The club has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments and is celebrated for its strategic design and fast, firm greens.
