Karori Golf Club

The Karori Golf Club is situated in the scenic South Makara Valley on the western outskirts of Wellington city. Being only 13km and 25 minutes from downtown Wellington, it offers locals and visitors the opportunity to escape the urban hustle and bustle and play golf in serene country surrounds undisturbed by traffic and other city noise. The course consists of 18 diverse and interesting holes, all distinctly different and defined by the natural topography of their surrounds, including a meandering stream through some of them, rather than by man made mounds and bunkers. With part of the course being on a slight slope in a sheltered basin, many holes have elevated greens, which in turn are rewarded by several elevated tees.
