Chamberlain Park Golf Club

Chamberlain Park is Auckland public golf at its most useful: an 18-hole, all-weather course in Mt Albert, close to Western Springs, Motat and the zoo. It is welcoming rather than precious, with no membership required, no tee bookings needed for normal play, and green fees pitched for repeat rounds. The golf is open enough for newer players yet still asks for tidy position play, helped by established trees, smooth greens and controlled rough. Add a proper pro shop, coaching, club hire, carts when available and a putting green, and Chamberlain Park is a central-city workhorse with real golfer appeal.
