Ocean Dunes is an 18‑hole, par‑72 links golf course on King Island, Tasmania, opened in 2016. The public layout is carved into coastal dunes with dramatic ocean‑facing holes (including two signature par‑3s). On‑site facilities include a clubhouse with café and bar, a pro shop with club hire, cart hire and practice areas.
Sea swept dunes and relentless ocean views deliver a gutsy, strategy rich links experience that golfers praise. Firm fairways, dramatic oceanfront approaches and welcoming staff make the day memorable. Drawback is the remote location and very limited onsite lodging.
