Kyneton Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70 country golf course located about an hour from Melbourne in Kyneton, Victoria. Designed by Vernon Morcom, the club moved to its current site on Blackhill Road in May 1950. Spread across 5,832 metres of tree-lined fairways, the course challenges golfers with well-maintained greens and a layout that rewards good shot-making. Visitors are welcome outside club competition times, and the course features motorised carts, pull buggies, and club hire for occasional players or beginners. Facilities include a spacious clubhouse with a full bar, open fireplace, and a pro shop stocked with basic golf equipment. The club maintains a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while supporting serious play, including local competitions. Vernon Morcom’s undulating, tree‑lined layout rewards accuracy: narrow doglegs and subtle bunkering force thoughtful shot‑making. Greens are well tended but can run quick when dry. Friendly club, steady pace and simple, tidy facilities deliver a satisfying country golf day for visitors.
