Dongara Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in the Midwest region of Western Australia. Established in 1931 and once a sand-greens layout, it now features fully reticulated grass greens across both the front and back nine. The course plays to a par of 71 and measures about 5,535 metres from the men’s Blue tees. Visitors are welcome daily and the club provides golf clubs, push buggies, and carts for hire. Practice facilities include a putting green, chipping green, and practice bunkers. The clubhouse looks over Charcoal bushes and coastal landscapes, offering views of Dongara and Port Denison, with the Indian Ocean in the distance. Regular competitions are held mid-week and on weekends, and the club maintains its heritage through voluntary member labour alongside staff support. If you enjoy shorter, scenic courses that reward strategy over brute distance, Dongara delivers character and variety in a welcoming local setting.
