Officially opened in 1985 with a Greg Norman-versus-Johnny Miller exhibition, the Peter Thomson & Mike Wolveridge desert layout winds between red-gum-lined fairways at the foot of the MacDonnell Ranges. Celebrated as one of the world’s top desert courses, it teams resort-style bunkering with fast bent-grass greens and a flood-lit practice precinct.
Desert golf at its most dramatic with immaculate greens, sculpted fairways and sweeping views of the MacDonnell Ranges that lift every round. Accuracy is rewarded and the routing feels thoughtful; clubhouse food and service can be inconsistent.
